The Government of Tamil Nadu through order dated 16 August, 2021 has revised the minimum wages payable for employees of rice mills, flour mills and dhall mills. The employees shall also be provided dearness allowance based on average consumer price index on Chennai. The dearness allowance shall be revised every year on April.
