The Ministry of Power vide circular dated 22 December, 2021 has clarified that 12 January, 2022 as the last date for stakeholder to send comments on the Draft Amendment on the Guidelines for short-term procurement of power by distribution licensees through tariff based bidding process. The guidelines is amended to provide the consequences on sale of contracted power to third party without consent of the procurer.
