The Ministry of Food Processing Industries on 27.11.2020 has issued guidelines under “operation greens” – a scheme for integrated development of Tomato, Onion and Potato Value Chain – for short term intervention for eligible fruits and vegetables. The guidelines provides for:
- Extension of the scheme to all fruits and vegetables
- 50% subsidy on transportation and storage for providing fruits and vegetables to deficient markets.
