The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is set to host a “Workshop on Solar Thermal Technologies” on September 13, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM (IST). The event will take place at the MNRE Ground Floor Auditorium, located in the Atal Akshay Urja Bhavan, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110003.
This workshop aims to engage stakeholders in vital discussions concerning the quality control of Solar Water Heaters (SWH) and the expansion of Concentrated Solar Thermal (CST) technologies for various industrial and institutional applications across India.
The workshop’s agenda comprises two distinct technical sessions, each addressing critical aspects of solar thermal technologies:
- Quality Control and Lab Development/Upgradation for Testing Solar Water Heaters and
- Scale-up of Concentrated Solar Thermal Technologies for Industrial and Institutional Applications
