The Department of Food and Public Distribution vide notification dated 5th April, 2022 has issued the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses (Amendment) Rules, 2022. The amendment has provided the revised Application fee and net worth requirement for registration and renewal of warehouses storing agricultural goods, non agricultural goods or both.
It is further provided that the authority shall, from time to time, notify the type of goods that may be, the subject matter of a negotiable warehouse receipt.
