The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) is holding elections to elect new members from registered veterinary practitioners. This notification was issued on April 22, 2024.

Eligibility
Only individuals registered in the Indian Veterinary Practitioners Register of the VCI can submit nominations. These individuals can send or deliver their nomination paper in Form-I to Justice (Ms.) Asha Menon (Retd.), Returning Officer for the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, at Cabin No. 5, Chandra Lok Building (2nd Floor), Janpath Road, New Delhi.
Alternatively, the eligible candidates have the option to submit their nomination papers online to the returning officer at e-mail ID: ro.vcielection@gmail.com. This online nomination paper shall be a scanned copy bearing clear signature of the candidate and the proposer/seconder.
The VCI plays a crucial role in maintaining professional standards and ethics within the veterinary profession in India. These elections will determine the composition of the council for the coming term
