Uttar Pradesh pollution Control Board vide its order dated 30th March 2020 has decided to issue permission to distilleries to manufacture alcohol-based hand sanitizers to ease the shortage of the product due to the sudden surge in the demand due to COVID-19.
The distillery/Industrial Unit in order to manufacture alcohol based sanitizers shall apply in Nivesh Mitra Portal (https://niveshmitra.up.nic.in/ )for grant of consent operate and start manufacturing. The permission shall be issued in the form of a letter/consent certificate.
The Circular shall be in force till 31st May 2020.
