Uttar Pradesh pollution Control Board in its order dated 10th April 2020 has decided to grant consent to industrial units manufacturing lifesaving medical equipment’s, personal protective equipment’s and oxygen cylinders in order to increase the production capacity.
In order to ensure adequate supply of those medical equipment’s and considering it as a top most priority, the Uttar Pradesh PCB has decided to grant permission to those existing industrials units manufacturing the equipment’s, who shall apply in Nivesh Mitra Portal (https://niveshmitra.up.nic.in/ )for grant of consent to operate and start manufacturing the personal protective equipment/ oxygen cylinders/ medical equipment and they shall duly comply with the standards for emission and effluent as prescribed under the Environmental (Protection) Act 1986.
The Circular shall be in force till 31st May 2020.
