On August 5, 2024, the Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Department issued a notification to amend the Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Rules, 2014. Additionally, new guidelines for construction near nallahs and khuds and valley view regulations for highways were introduced.
The Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission also updated its regulations, mandating that distribution licensees prepare and publish standard cost data annually by March 15.
In the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department, maximum retail prices for essential commodities in Bilaspur and Mandi districts were revised to control profiteering.
