The revised list prioritizes solar PV modules that meet minimum efficiency standards set by MNRE.
- Utility/Grid Scale Power Plants: 20.0% minimum efficiency for crystalline silicon technology, 19.00% for Cadmium Telluride thin film technology.
- Rooftop and Solar Pumping: 19.5% minimum efficiency for crystalline silicon technology, 18.50% for Cadmium Telluride thin film technology.
- Solar Lighting: 19.0% minimum efficiency for crystalline silicon technology, 18.00% for Cadmium Telluride thin film technology.
The previous update to List I occurred on January 6, 2025. The revised list details all approved manufacturers and models.
Moreover, the ALMM enlistment remains valid only with a valid Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) registration. This list includes details regarding specific BIS registrations (R. No.) for each manufacturer.
