University Grants Commission vide circular dated 28th October 2024 has issued a request for Participation in the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Programme for Enrichment of Academic Programmes in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
Several higher education institutions (HE(s) have already joined UBA, contributing to the development of rural India. By collaborating with local authorities, faculty, and students, these institutions are expected to adapt existing technologies and innovate new solutions to address local needs, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of government schemes. The UBA registration portal remains open throughout the year for new registrations.
Further, already registered institutions are requested to submit their proposals under UGCs Subject Expert Group (SEG)-Curriculum Reforms and Educational Institutions and Social Responsibility through the UBA Proposal Submission Portal (https:/lunnatbharatabhiyan.gov.in/) for the UBA Subject Expert Groups (SEGs), open until the 30th October 2024.
