The Government of Tripura vide notification dated 13 November, 2020 has published the Tripura State Goods and Service Tax (Tenth Amendment) Rules, 2020. The amendment provides that when an application for GST registration is submitted before the proper authority and such authority fails to take action within the following time limit, the application shall be deemed approved:
- Within 3 days of application if Aadhar authentication is successfully completed.
- Within 21 days of application if the applicant does not opt for Aadhar authentication.
- Within 7 days from date of receipt of clarification, further information or documents demanded from applicant.
