The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued a press release extending the timeline for comments on its consultation paper “Regulating Converged Digital Technologies and Services – Enabling Convergence of Carriage of Broadcasting and Telecommunication services. This release was issued on 27th March, 2023.
It may be recalled that on 30th January, 2023, TRAI released a Consultation Paper on “Regulating Converged Digital Technologies and Services – Enabling Convergence of Carriage of Broadcasting and Telecommunication services“.
Subsequently, on stakeholders request, the last date of receiving written comments was extended up to 27th March, 2023 and for counter-comments up to 10th April, 2023.
Now once again, it has been decided to further extend the last date for submission of written comments and counter-comments upto 3rd April, 2023 and 17th April, 2023 respectively.
The Comments and counter-comments may be sent, preferably in electronic form to advbbpa@trai.gov.in with a copy to jtadv- bbpa@trai.gov.in.
