The World’s Largest Renewable Energy Park-Hybrid Energy Park In Kutch

Chief Minister of Gujarat visited Khavda in Kutch, to review the ongoing development of the 30,000 MW Solar-Wind Renewable Energy Park. the construction of the world’s largest Hybrid Renewable Energy Park is underway, aiming for India’s self-reliance in the energy sector. This hybrid park, aligned with the Prime Minister’s vision for green-clean energy and environmental protection, is being developed at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.50 lakh crore. This Notification was published on the date of 27.12.2023.

The Chief Minister urged the officers to focus on ensuring timely availability of power generated in the Renewable Energy Park to various parts of the country, including Gujarat, and to fulfil the Prime Minister’s vision of green energy. During the meeting, he inquired about the time-bound planning for power generation, evacuation, and transmission, as well as the setup of pooling stations and transmission lines. Additionally, CM recommended that the Energy Department conduct periodic review meetings to coordinate the progress of this project, which holds significance as one of the dream projects of Prime Minister. The Chief Minister, along with Energy Minister and other senior officials, visited the expansive site of the Renewable Energy Park, spanning approximately 74,600 hectares near Dharamshala on the Kutch border near Khavda. Several development projects, garnering global recognition for Gujarat, are materializing under the guidance of Prime Minister. CM has also reviewed visionary projects, monitored progress, and provided essential guidance. The on-site visit includes projects such as Metro Rail Phase-II, Dharoi Area Development, and Dholera SIR. Following this approach, the Chief Minister inspected the construction site of the world’s largest renewable energy park in Khavda, Kutch.
