The State Government of Rajasthan through its Notification dated 20th December, 2019 has amended the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 by exempting the registered dealers selling High Speed Diesel to manufacturers and works contractors registered under the Rajasthan Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017 from tax payment.
Schedule II under the Act contains the list of person or class of person exempted from payment of tax, in which through this amendment the above mentioned class of persons is added as Entry No. 82.
