The Ministry of Commerce and Industry vide its notification dated 30th June 2021 has published the Personal Protective Equipment-Footwear (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2021 to further amend the Personal Protective Equipment Footwear (Quality Control) Order, 2020.
The Bureau of Indian Standards shall be the certifying and enforcing authority for the goods or articles such as Personal protective equipment – Part 2 Safety Footwear, Personal protective equipment – Part 4 Occupational Footwear etc.
The Above order shall be in force from 1st January 2022.
