The State Government of Karnataka vide its notification dated 7th march 2022 has published the Karnataka Educational Institutions (Classification and Registration) (Amendment) Rules, 2022 which shall come into force with effect from 22nd April 2022.
The amendment is brought under rule 3(3)(a) which provides that Registration and processing fee once paid shall be valid for a period of three years from the date of payment
Further under rule 3(3)(b) If the applicant fails to obtain registration within three years from the date of payment of the Registration and processing fee, such fee shall not be refunded for any reason.
