The Government of Kerala on October 19th 2024 notified the Draft Kerala Factories (Amendment) Rules 2024 further to amend the Kerala Factories Rules 1957.
The Key Amendments Include the Following:
In the Kerala Factories Rules 1957, For APPENDIX I the following Appendix shall be Substituted
2. APPENDIX III has also been substituted with a new APPENDIX
PUBLIC CONSULTATION :
Objections or suggestions if any, that may be received from any person in respect of the said draft can be submitted in 45 days.
All such objections and suggestions shall be addressed to the Secretary to Government, Labour and Skills (B) Department, Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 001.
