The State Government of Haryana vide its notification dated 3rd June 2022, has made it obligatory on the part of the employers of any business, trade, industrial undertaking, or any other establishments to grant holiday on 19th June 2022 to their workmen who are entitled to cast vote in the general elections of municipal councils and committee.
The date on which the poll for the general elections of municipal councils and committees, 2022 will take place, shall be a public holiday, in those areas wherever such poll takes place.
