The Labour Department of Goa vide its notification dated 17th December 2020 in order to enhance ease of doing business in the state, has introduced auto renewal system for renewal procedure for Certificates/Registrations/License or establishments upon prescribed online payment of fees.
Registrations under the Goa, Daman and Diu Shops and Establishments Act, 1973 and License under the Contract Labor (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 and the Goa, Daman and Diu Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Rules, 1972 and License under the Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979 and the Goa, Daman and Diu Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1982 shall be auto-renewed.
The Auto-renewal shall be for those establishments who have obtained the registration certificates/licenses through online mode and whose data is available in the system and the Auto-renewal shall not be applicable to the applications if there is any change in the particulars of the renewal application.
The digital Certificate of renewal of registration/license processed under auto-renewal shall be available on the portal in the log-in credentials of the individual applicants.
