The Government of Goa has capped fare for Patient Transport Ambulance

The Government of Goa has been notified that some Private Ambulance Drivers/service Providers are
charging exorbitant rate(s) in the State of Goa during the COVID-19 pandemic for transporting patients. The Government has thereby prescribed following capping of the fares for the Patient Transport Ambulance (PTA); Basic Life Support Ambulance (BLS) and Advanced Life Support Ambulance (ALS) and for Hearse Vans, for use of COVID patients and for transportation of COVID dead bodies:

1. Patient Transport: Rs. 1500/- per call upto 10 kms. Ambulance (PTA) and Rs. 50/- per extra kms.
   above 10 kms. Rs. 25/- per km. return charges.
2. Basic Life Support Rs. 2000/- per call upto 10 kms. Ambulance (BLS) and Rs. 50/- per extra kms. above 10 kms. Rs. 25/- per km. return charges.
3. Advanced Life Rs. 4000/- per call upto 10 kms. Support and Rs. 50/- per extra kms. Ambulance (AIS) above 10 kms. Rs. 25/- per km. return charges
