The State Government of Chandigarh vide its notification dated 17th September 2020 has directed commercial establishments and shops etc in trades or services such as Restaurants/Dhabas, Discos, bars, clubs and hawking goods by the road side and on public places to not to operate in the late night by causing annoyance and disturbance to the public.
Therefore all establishments/shops etc shall remain close between 1:00 AM to 4:30 AM, provided this order will not apply to hospitals, chemist shops, and petrol pumps.
This order shall come into force from 18th September 2020 and shall be effective for a period of 60 days (i.e till 16th November 2020).
