The State Government of Bihar vide its gazette notification dated 19th May 2020 has added certain goods in Schedule I of the Bihar Essential Articles (Display of Prices and Stocks) order, 1977.
Foodgrains including wheat and wheat products, Masks (2 ply & 3 ply surgical masks, N 95 masks) & Hand Sanitizers, Potato and Onion has been added to Schedule I.
Further Rice, Gram, Atta of (Wheat, rice or gram), Maize, Pulse grains, Pulses, Salt, Sugar, Gur, Edible Oil of all kinds, Vanaspati of all makes, Baby Food, Matches, Maida, Suji, Rawa, Soda ash (for washing Purpose), Kerosene Oil, L.P.G and all spices, etc mentioned in Schedule-I of the order, shall be deemed to be added with effect from March 20, 2020.
