The Government of Andhra Pradesh has exempted few industries from the operation of Employees State Insurance Act

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has vide Notification dated 11th December, 2019, has exempted few industries from the operation of Employees State Insurance(ESI) Act, 1948.

The Factories / Establishments in Andhra Pradesh State engaged in the seasonal processing and re-drying of un­manufactured leaf tobacco or processes incidental and connected there with have been exempted from the operation of the ESI Act.

The exemption shall be in effect from the date of issue of notification till 02.07.2020.
