The Government of Goa vide its notification dated 15th June 2020, issued The Goa Agricultural Produce and Livestock Marketing (Promotion and Facilitation) (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2020.
A new sub-section (2AA) is added to Section 49 has been inserted in Section 44 states that the Marketing Board shall contribute 5% of its income derived from license fees and market fees to the Revolving Marketing Development Fund.
A new sub-section (2A) has been inserted in Section 51 stating that an application for grant or renewal of license, for private market yard, farmer-consumer market yard or market sub-yard, shall be accompanied with such fee and security/bank guarantee, as may be prescribed.
