The Central Government notifies extensions of Quality Control Orders for specified Chemicals

The Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards has notified the extension of Quality Control Orders for specified chemicals. The notifications were issued on 21^st December, 2022. The encompass  the following orders:

1. Phthalic Anhydride (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2022.
2. Toluene (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2022.
3. Terephthalic Acid (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2022.
4. n-Butyl Acrylate (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2022.

All of these orders shall come into force on 22nd day of June, 2023. The latest version of the Indian Standards including amendments issued by the Bureau of Indian Standards from time to time, shall apply from the date of such notification.
