The Central Electricity Authority has issued the Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2022. These regulations are applicable to all electrical installation, including electrical plant and electric lines, and persons engaged in generation or transmission or distribution or trading or supply or use of electricity.
The generating company or licensee shall maintain records of the maps, plans and sections relating to supply or transmission of electricity and submit the same to the Electrical Inspector for inspection as and when required by him and the licensee shall also be required to submit the records of consumers to the Electrical Inspector.
