This holiday is in observance of the General Elections to Lok Sabha, 2024, and the Bye-Election to 71-Secunderabad Cantt. (SC) Assembly Constituency. This initiative aims to ensure that every eligible voter can exercise their fundamental right to vote without hindrance. Such measures underscore the government’s commitment to fostering a robust democratic process by removing any barriers to electoral participation. The directive extends to all factories, shops, establishments, and industrial undertakings across Telangana.
