The Labour, Employment, Training & Factories Department of Telangana, as part of Business Reform Action Plan-2019, has by its order dated 17 September 2020 decided to grant exemptions exemption from the applicability of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979 and Rules framed thereunder.
This exemption is aimed at the implementation of Automatic non-discretionary deemed renewal of license through the online system, without the requirement of filing of an application for renewal.
The auto-renewal is subject to payment of the fee prescribed by the Government from time to time, within the time prescribed, until further orders.
The Commissioner of Labour, Telangana, Hyderabad has been authorized to take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
