CDSCO Publishes Not Of Standard Quality And Spurious Alert For September 2024

The NSQ drug list specifies a total of 18 drugs that were detected to be deficient by State Lab Drugs Control Laboratories. All of these 18 drugs were declared to be not of standard quality. The NSQ drug list for central CDSCO laboratories specifies a total of 49 drugs that were detected to be deficient. Additionally, CDSCO has also identified 4 drugs to be spurious.

FSSAI Notifies NABL Accredited Laboratories for Western and Southern Region

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has modified its list of laboratories accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL). These laboratories are notified for the purposes of carrying out analysis of food samples taken in accordance with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

Drug Alert List for October 2023

A total of 1105 samples were tested by the CDSCO. Based on the samples tested, CDSCO has found a total of 61 drugs, medical devices and cosmetics that are identified as being deficient.

Proposed Amendments to Cosmetics Rules 2020: Strengthening Regulations

On 15th May 2023, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare proposed amendments to the Cosmetics Rules 2020.
