Pharmacy Institutions Celebrate 10th International Day of Yoga

This year’s theme, “Yoga for Self and Society,” underscores the practice’s potential to benefit both individuals and communities. The Ministry has prepared a handbook and made digital resources available online to support IDY activities and ensure their success. All pharmacy institutions are encouraged to participate in this celebration and to submit action-taken reports to the Ministry of Ayush, with a copy to the Pharmacy Council of India.

PCI Issues Guidelines For Inspectors Towards Inspection Process Of Academic Year 2024-2025

The inspections will be carried out by specially empaneled inspectors. The inspections shall be conducted entirely through a mobile application (PCI Inspection App) available on Google Play Store for Android devices. Inspectors shall verify the adequacy of infrastructural facilities, Human Resources and other facilities as specified under Education Regulations for various pharmacy
Programmes.

PCI Extends Application Deadline for 2024-2025 Academic Session

Stakeholders from across the pharmaceutical education sector had expressed concerns and requested additional time for the submission of applications. Acknowledging these appeals, the PCI has now granted an extension, setting the new deadline for application submission on January 30, 2024.

PCI Publishes FAQs on Registration of M.Pharm Students & Payment Updations

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has released clarifications on two issues pertaining to online payments and the registration process for M.Pharm pursuing students on the PCI portal. These FAQs were published on January 18, 2024. The PCI encourages all concerned parties to refer to this clarification and the attached documentation for a seamless experience with the PCI portal.

PCI Draws Attention To UGC Mandate On Anti-Ragging Measures

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has issued a notice urging all pharmacy institutions to monitor Anti-Ragging measures as per University Grants Commission (UGC) directions. The UGC has issued comprehensive regulations on curbing the menance of ragging in higher educational institutions. These regulations are applicable to all institutions across the country. This notice was issued on January 12, 2024.
