SIF Editing Window Opens for Pharmacy Institutions
The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has announced a seven-day window for medical institutions to make modifications to their submitted Standard Inspection Format (SIF). Institutions that submitted their SIF and completed payment by January 31, 2025, can now edit their forms from February 4, 2025, to February 10, 2025.

Pharmacists facing registration problems due to the “PAN CARD/Aadhar Already Exists” error can submit their details through a Google Form. A downloadable declaration form (Annexure 1) needs to be completed and submitted through the pharmacist’s institution on official letterhead. This declaration should be accompanied by the pharmacist’s latest self-attested documents.

Approval Process For Pharmacy Institutions’ Academic Session 2025-26 Applications
The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has announced the opening of its portal for pharmacy institutions seeking approval for the academic session 2025-26. From December 18, 2024, to January 15, 2025, existing institutions can apply for continuation of approval, introduction of new courses, raising admissions, or availing specific services through the PCI portal.
Pharmacists and Institutions Required to Verify Profiles for Integration with National Healthcare System
All registered pharmacists must verify their profiles on the DIGI-PHARMed portal using their ABHA number by January 4, 2025. Non-compliance will result in profile deactivation. Pharmacy institutions are responsible for ensuring their faculty have ABHA-verified profiles on DIGI-PHARMed. Starting from the 2025-2026 academic session, only ABHA-verified faculty profiles will be considered for Self-Inspection Form (SIF) applications.
