NOC Required for Admit Card Issuance for Nursing Entrance Examinations

The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has issued a reminder to all candidates that a No Objection Certificate (NOC) is mandatory for the issuance of admit cards. Candidates who have not yet produced their NOCs will not be able to obtain their admit cards and, consequently, will not be allowed to participate in the examination.

INC Urges Nursing Institutions to Submit Compliance Reports

The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has issued a reminder to medical institutions that have not yet received suitability renewal for the academic year 2024-25. The deadline for uploading compliance reports has been extended to September 30, 2024.

Nursing Institutions Face Stringent Fines For Operating On Single Campus

The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has stated that during its surprise inspections it has observed that there are several nursing institutions functioning in the same campus. INC has emphasised that this amounts to a violation of its norms and guidelines. Hence, in a meeting dated January, 2024, the INC has taken the decision to penalise erring institutions. It has decided to impose a penalty of Rs 5 lakh per institution.

No Fees To Be Charged For Continuing Nursing Education

The INC has therefore categorically stated that SNRCs shall not charge any fees from either the nursing institutions conducting CNEs or from nurses. Additionally, the INC will launch a portal for uploading information by nursing institutions on the CNE. The SNRCs will be able to use the portal to check the CNE details of the nurses and renew their registrations.
