FSSAI Re-operationalizes Food Safety Licensing Amendment Regulations, 2021
The Food Safety And Standards Authority Of India (FSSAI) had first introduced an amendment titled Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Business) Amendment Regulations, 2018. FSSAI, by the present notice dated July 19, 2024, has issued a direction re-operationalizing this amendment regulation.
Streamlining Factory Maintenance: Amendment to Chhattisgarh Factories Rules
The Chhattisgarh State Government has made an amendment to the Chhattisgarh Factories Rules, 1962, through Notification No. F-10-7/2019/16. The amendment involves the omission of Rule 53, which required white-washing and color-washing of latrines and urinals in factories and maintaining a register in Form 7. This change recognizes modern sanitary practices and provides flexibility to factories while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
