Date Declared For NEET-MDS 2024 Examination

The Dental Council of India (DCI) has that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET-MDS) will take place on 18th March 2024. Candidates are advised to stay updated with official notifications and guidelines provided by the examination authorities.

DCI Announces Screening Test Dates

As per the ‘Dental Council of India Screening Test Regulations, 2009,’ eligible candidates must submit their duly filled-in application forms (available on the DCI website) by 10th December 2023. The application should include relevant particulars, the requisite fee, and necessary documents for candidate assessment.

Special Stray Vacancy Round for NEET-UG 2023 Eligible Candidates Announced

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) has issued a notice of extension of the last date of admission for undergraduate courses and conduct a Special Stray Vacancy Round for vacant MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc. Nursing seats under the All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota. This Special Stray Vacancy Round will be the final round for undergraduate courses for the academic year 2023.

DCI announces Revised BDS Course Counseling Schedule and Data Upload Deadlines

The Dental Council of India (DCI) has instructed dental college authorities to upload the details of students admitted to the BDS course for the academic session 2023-24 on the DCI Website on or before the last date of joining, i.e., 15th November 2023, at 12:00 midnight. Any claims of admission made after 12:00 midnight on November 15, 2023, will be subject to legal actions under the prescribed laws.

DCI issues Further Directions for uploading Details of BDS Students on the DCI Website

This notice serves as that all dental colleges must upload the details of the students admitted in BDS Course at their dental colleges for the academic session 2023-24, on or before 31st October, 2023, midnight. It is imperative to follow the guidelines to avoid any legal complications and to facilitate a streamlined admission process for the academic session 2023-24.

Dental Colleges Urged to Adhere to Anti-Ragging Regulations

The DCI has issued a stern reminder to all dental institutions to uphold the integrity and safety of dental education in India by ensuring a ragging-free environment. All dental institutions are urged to comply with the Anti-Ragging Regulations and upload the requisite information on the online portal of DCI by October 31, 2023, and also submit their compliance on the UGC portal.
