Pre-Ayurveda-Programme for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery Regulations
The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program will be a seven-and-a-half-year course, including a two-year pre-Ayurveda program. The institutions will follow the Gurukulam model, focusing on traditional values and holistic education. All Ayurveda Gurukulams will be affiliated with the Central Sanskrit University. The number of Gurukulams will be determined based on population and regional needs.
October 29 To Be Celebrated As Ayurveda Day 2024
The Ministry of Ayush will organize a major event at the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in New Delhi. Startups and industry leaders will actively participate in the celebrations. Leading Ayurveda experts will share their thoughts and perspectives on the future of Ayurveda. Ayurveda students and scholars are actively involved in preparing for the celebrations.
Centre Withholds National Health Mission Funds for West Bengal
The Centre has taken punitive actions in response to West Bengal choosing blue and white for the building colors, and the title “Susasthya Kendra” in the regional language alongside “Health & Wellness Centre” in English in contravention to the branding guidelines for AB-HWCs. The Centre has also raised concerns over West Bengal’s lack of participation in key government consultations and programs.
