Submission of digitally signed documents permitted for availing government services in Punjab

The Government of Punjab vide notification dated August 31, 2022 has approved submission of digitally signed documents to promote digitization in the working of the Government. Approving authorities of the Government services shall use digital signatures to approve the digitally processed applications. Authorities shall not insist on production of documents bearing physical signatures, or holograms, or stamps where digitally signed documents have been provided/submitted.

All such digitally signed documents shall have Unique Document ID/Serial Number/QR Code printed on them, which shall be verifiable online.
