The process for granting licenses to private placement agencies for providing workers is now conveniently accessible online through the e-district portal. As part of this process, a fee of Rs. 5,000 must be paid upon application for the license by the agency. After consulting with the account functionaries of the Labor Department, it has been advised to allocate this amount to Head 0230 Labor and Employment 00106 fees under Contract Labor (Regulation and Abolition) Rules. Consequently, private placement agencies are directed to deposit the Rs. 5,000 license fee accordingly. This directive has been approved by the competent authority.
