Stock exchanges permitted to launch multiple contracts in same commodity

SEBI vide circular dated January 11, 2023 has allowed stock exchanges to launch multiple contracts in same commodity. The Circular shall come into force with immediate effect. The Exchanges are advised to take steps to make necessary amendments to the relevant bye-laws, rules and regulations for the implementation of the same and to bring the provisions of this circular to the notice of the members of the Exchange and also to disseminate the same on their website.
