State Government of Telangana directs the owners of high rise buildings to upload a third party fire safety audit certificate on the department website.

The Telangana State Disaster Response and Fire Services Department vide notification dated 28th January 2020, has issued certain instructions with respect to Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures in all High-Rise Buildings / Non- High-Rise Buildings.

The Department has notified that the owner and occupier of all High-Rise Buildings, that have obtained a No Objection Certificate from the Department to upload the certificate on the official website- https://fire.telangana.gov.in/. The certificate shall be from 3rd party Fire Safety Auditor / Consultant in the format which is prescribed in the circular.

The certificates shall be uploaded by the owner or the occupier in the website every January or July/January depending on the nature and height of the Building –

  • Residential buildings above 30Mtrs and below 45Mtrs height, Business Mercantile, Educational, Industrial buildings above 15-30m height, hotels up to 30m height shall upload the Certificate once in every year i.e. in January.
  • Residential buildings of 45m height, Malls & Multiplexes, Hospital buildings above 15m height, Hotels above 30Mtrs height and Business and Mercantile buildings s above 30Mtrs height shall upload the Certificate once in every six months i.e. in January and July.
