State Government of Tamil Nadu allows industrial establishments in Chennai to resume work from 25th May 2020

The State Government of Tamil Nadu vide its press release dated 24th May 2020 has allowed 17 industrial estates situated in Covid-19 non-containment zones to start functioning from May 25 onwards, subject to certain conditions, including confining the workforce to 25%.

The industries shall restart with 25 percent workforce and every employee must wear masks and shall maintain social distancing.

Further thermal scanners must be used for screening employees and the premises must be disinfected two times in a day and employees aged above 55 years must not be permitted to work.
