The State Government of Madhya Pradesh vide its notification dated 13th May 2020 has amended Rule 112 of Madhya Pradesh Factories Rules, 1962 which specifies the due date for filing return which shall be paid on or before 1st February in each calendar year instead of 15th January.
An occupier or manager of every factory shall furnish electronically or upload one unified return as required by the inspector or any other officer appointed by the State Government in this behalf, annually on or before February 01 in each calendar year on the web portal giving information as to the particulars specified in such official web-portal in respect of the preceding year of such calendar year.
Provided that it shall not be necessary for such occupier or manager to furnish the return for a calendar year under this rule, if he has already furnished an annual return for that year on the said web portal under the Labour Laws (Exemption from furnishing returns and maintaining registers by certain establishments) Amendment Act, 2014.
