The State Government of Andhra Pradesh in its Notification dated 11th December 2019, has extended the status Motor Transport Industry in the State of Andhra Pradesh, as a Public Utility Service for the purposes of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 for a further period of six months from July 30, 2019 to January 29, 2020 with retrospective effect.
Government of Andhra Pradesh in its earlier Notification dated 8th Feb 2019 has declared the Motor Transport industry in the state of Andhra Pradesh as a Public Utility Service for the purposes of the Industrial Disputes Act,1947 for a period of six months from January 30, 2019 to July 29, 2019 which was expired on July 29, 2019.Therefore the Government of Andhra Pradesh has extended the time for a further period of six months from July 30, 2019 to January 29, 2020 with retrospective effect.
