Securities and Exchange Board of India on 15th May, 2023 issued notification regarding amendment made in qualification for Legal Stream officers in Grade A. The changes included that in addition to the qualification specified for Legal Stream, two years post qualification experience as an Advocate (including as an associate in an Advocate’s or Solicitor’s Office or Law Firm) after being enrolled under the Advocates Act shall be a desirable qualification.
