The Securities and Exchange Board of India on 8th January 2020 has revised the format of monthly reports submitted by portfolio managers, in order to broaden the information obtained under such filings.
The Portfolio Managers are required to submit a monthly report regarding their portfolio management activity, on the SEBI Intermediaries Portal within 7 working days of the end of each month, as per a prescribed format, however, in order to broaden the information obtained under monthly reports, certain modifications specifying the types of services offered -discretionary, non-discretionary and advisory service and the disclosures regarding funds inflow/outflow under the data for discretionary and non-discretionary services has been carried out.
This modification shall be applicable for monthly reports submitted from January 2021 onwards.
