SEBI Relaxes listing obligation compliance deadlines due to COVID-2019 Pandemic

The Securities Exchange Board of India vide Circular dated March 19, 2020 has extended the timeline for complying with requirements for certain filing under SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, due to the outbreak of Corona virus.

The List of compliances where the due dates have been extended is as under:

Moreover, the requirement of ensuring that the time gap between two meeting of the Board of directors and Audit Committee is within 120 days has been relaxed for meetings held between the period December 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020.

However the board of directors / Audit Committee shall ensure that they meet atleast four times a year, as stipulated under regulations 17(2) and 18(2)(a) of the LODR
