The Securities and Exchange Board of India in its gazette notification dated 16th June 2020 has published the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020.
The Amendment is brought under regulation 172 whereby a listed company cannot make any subsequent qualified institutions placement until the expiry of two weeks against the previous ban for six months from the date of the prior qualified institution’s placement made pursuant to one or more special resolutions.
