SEBI mandates exchanges to display complaint against them on website.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India on 4th October 2021 has directed stock exchanges and clearing corporations to disclose on their websites, the data on complaints received against them and their redressal.

As per the format provided by SEBI, data of complaints against the exchanges or the clearing corporations having commodity derivatives segment has to be displayed, and these include complaints received directly from investors, Sebi SCORES and other sources and shall also mention the average resolution time.

These disclosure requirements are in addition to those already mandated by SEBI and the provisions of the current circular will come into effect from January 1, 2022.
