Securities Exchange Board of India(SEBI) vide notification dated 23rd March 2020 has extended the time period for filings and compliances prescribed under SEBI (Infrastructure Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014 and SEBI (Real estate Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014 and Circulars issued thereunder. The extensions have been given due to circumstances arising due to spread of the COVID 19 virus.
All filings and compliances that was to be made by Real estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs) within 31st March 2020, is extended for a month from their due dates.
The notification shall be effective immediately.
