The Securities and Exchange Board of India on 31st December 2020 has extended the timeline for Creation of Security in issuance of listed Debt Securities and ‘due diligence’ by Debenture Trustee from 1st April 2021.
SEBI has extended the timeline based on the representations received from debenture trustees.
SEBI in its earlier circular has specified the requirement with regard to creation of security in issuance of listed debt securities and due diligence to be carried out by debenture trustee(s),which were applicable from January 01, 2021, however through this notification it has now been extended to 1st April 2021.
